Fleeing winter in Mexico is possible

The seasons of Europe are not at all the same as those of Central America, especially in Mexico. When it is in winter in Europe, in certain regions of Mexico Weather is favorable for sunbathing. Fleeing winter in Mexico for sanitary reasons or just to indulge yourself is quite doable.

Weather in Mexico

Known for its beaches and sunshine, Mexico enjoys a generally warm and sunny climate for much of the year. It is crossed by the Tropic of Cancer. Given the size of the country, it offers two major climatic trends that are very different from one another. The northern climate of the country is temperate and the winters are much colder. The climate of the South is a tropical climate and offers temperatures almost constant throughout the year. There are two distinct seasons, the dry season and the rainy season. The dry season remains the most dominant, the rainy season covers only a small part of the year and the showers only fall at the end of the afternoon and last only about an hour.

The rainy seasons of Mexico arrive between the month of June and the month of September. As the country is very large, it is possible to make a francophone excursion to Mexico in other parts of the country where precipitation is less important during the holidays. On Mexico forums, you can easily identify areas less covered by rain. The ideal time to do excursions to Mexico extends from October to April. It is the dry season, the sun is present in all major tourist cities and the heat is bearable. The cities of Playa del Carmen and Tulum are the most recommended destinations for the months of December and January, Cancun and Mexico are less, but still fairly correct. Mexico is then one of the best destinations to flee the European winter, but that does not mean that spending school holidays in Mexico is not feasible.
