Its name means “white woman” because its four peaks remind one of the head, chest, knees, and feet of a woman asleep. The climb can be done by most people as this trek requires no special physical condition. The journey is long and reaches a high altitude. The route involves 2 to 3 days, depending on the pace. Paso de Cortés is the starting point for this climb. To fully experience this adventure, it is best to bring the right equipment. Among some of them, make sure to bring hiking boots, warm clothes, water and other necessary provisions. Also, it is highly recommended to be accompanied by a guide to avoid getting lost.
